Automatic Drip Machine is one way we all have seen from childhood memories to offices today. It is how most of us learned to make coffee. Pouring freshly ground coffee in the filter of a drip machine brewer, pushing the button, and waiting for the experience. Since the technology behind brewing has not changed, using the orderly approach would be ideal. Coffee and water weight will produce the best results just the way you like your cup.

  • Automatic Brewer (I.e, Hamilton Beach, Bonavita, etc.)

STEP 1

Weigh the water and add it to the reservoir.

STEP 2

Weigh the coffee. If you have whole bean, adjust your grinder to grind the coffee. Grinding measurements are similar to a pour over grind.

STEP 3

Add the coffee to the filter and distribute evenly in the filter. An uneven pour in the filter can produce an uneven brew.

STEP 4

If your machine has a bloom function, make sure that is turned on. Start your automatic drip machine.

STEP 5

Allow the machine to finish brewing the coffee. A full brew will result to a well-developed flavor profile. As your machine brews, you may also pre-heat your cup. A pre-heated cup will ensure a consistency in temperature.

STEP 6

Once brew is compete, pour out the water preheating the cup. Serve and enjoy!
