STEP 1

Add grounded coffee into the strainer.

STEP 2

Insert the strainer into the glass pot. Align the mark on the strainer with the pot. This will prevent any grounds from entering the chamber of water.

STEP 3

Pour the cold water over the coffee, ensuring the grounds are evenly saturated. Stir thoroughly for 10-15 seconds, making sure the water fully saturates the grounds. Stirring prevents an uneven balance from areas of the coffee that was not properly saturated. Stir gently to avoid damaging the mesh filter.

STEP 4

Add the lid and brew at room temperature from 8-24 hours. Most connoisseurs recommend 12-14 hours of brewing. If you are looking for a brighter cup it would be recommended to brew under refrigeration. If you are looking for a more bolder cup it would be recommended to brew at room temperature.

A longer brew time would produce a richer profile as a brighter brew is common in shorter time of brew durations.

STEP 5

After coffee has been brewed, stir the coffee grounds before removing the strainer.

STEP 6

Lastly, remove the strainer once the brewing process is complete and store under refrigeration.
